This page contains internal resources for community foundations related to the County Endowment Fund Program.
Beginning July 1, 2025: The State has eliminated the Lead Philanthropic Entity contract that the Iowa Council of Foundations held since 2004. The LPE contract is what funded ICoF’s work managing and promoting the Endow Iowa tax credit and the County Endowment Fund Program. We are still awaiting word from the State about which agency manages the CEFP program, but so far we know the following contacts:
- CEFP payment questions: Iowa Department of Revenue
- To update banking information for fund transfers, contact the Iowa Department of Administrative Services at least two months in advance: 515-281-6624 | EFT Authorization Form
- National Standards, Asset/Data collection: Nichole Hansen at IEDA
